WHAT CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

Service Superiority

Paul Espinoza

Field Technicians, Atlas Toyota Material Handling - Elk Grove Village

Review:

“...Some of the best customer service, professionalism..."

"In regards to your tech Paul Espinoza, the service he provides our two locations is without a doubt some of the best customer service, professionalism, along with knowledge of repairs, and his investigative intuition when he is onsite. He has given me information about some of my drivers that my employees don't pass along. He has also stopped and educated some of our drivers if they were exhibiting reckless driving habits. I feel like we're his only customer and I know that is not the truth but he has spoiled us. 😊

I have been in the warehouse game for over 30 years and I have been around some good techs and some really good techs but Paul is very exceptional. If we were to get a new fleet of PIVs I would want him to give all my drivers a course in the upkeeping and driving of the machinery.

Service is what sells and separates the good companies from the not-so-good companies. The service Paul sells is very high. I appreciate him."

Worksite Wins

James Patterson

Service Manager, Atlas Bobcat - Wauconda

Review:

“...Very knowledgeable..."

"James and the service department are very responsive and worked with me to get my units up and going at critical times. The service tech was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing to get me going and other repairs that we should have done in the shop at a later time. THANK YOU JAMES and service team!!"

PET SPOTLIGHT

Talented Trickster

Meet Ace, a clever and charismatic pup who never misses a chance to show off his talents! This bundle of energy can speak and spin on command, proving he's as smart as he is charming! But his true weakness? Peanut butter—the ultimate treat of choice. 🥜

At just 3 years old, Ace is a star who brings energy, charm, and plenty of tail wags wherever he goes with his buddy, Carlos Thomas! 🐶

Chirpy Consultant

Introducing Tiko, also know as the Green Blob! 💚 At 9 years old, he has developed a personality as vibrant and his feathers. When he's not pacing the top of his cage or perfecting his smoke alarm impression, he's busy sampling food from every plate (don't tell him everyone is eating the same meal!)

Tiko is quite the chatterbox, charming everyone with phrases like "Hi, Tiko!", "Pretty, pretty, pretty birdie", "goodnight baby bird", and other incoherent gibberish. His talents don't stop there—he can spin, wave, spread his wings, sleep on one foot, wave and say hello, and even give kisses! His true passion, though, is supervising his owner, Sarah LaVigna, on her car repairs, making phone calls to the Toyota Parts Department, and ensuring every online order is up to par. With enough time, this little guy might just rebuild a car all on his own! 🔧

Snack Seekers

Meet the dynamic duo of Josh Thompson:

Shelby, the 8-year-old black lab, and Anya, the 7-year-old treat enthusiast!

Shelby has a love for blueberries and an unstoppable passion for chasing squirrels! 🫐🐿️ Anya, on the other hand, is an expert at begging for biscuits! Her charming eyes and sweet demeanor make it impossible to say no, and she's always ready to score her next tasty reward! 🦴

Together, these two make the perfect pair! 🐾

Snack Snatcher

Say hello to Bolek, the two-year-old cat with an insatiable love for anything edible and an expert level stretching technique! Whether he's lounging lazily or begging Filip Papierz for snacks with his big, golden eyes, Bolek knows how to capture hearts! 😻

When he's not napping, he's likely plotting his next snack attack—because anything edible is fair game! 😋

Atlas on the RC Fast Track 💨🏁

Ryan Ratzlaff | Sales Manager, Badger | New Berlin, WI

When he’s not managing forklift sales, Ryan is chasing speed on the RC racetrack! From national events to local competitions, he’s found the perfect way to fuel his passion for performance—both on and off the clock. Here’s what he had to say about his need for speed beyond the workweek!

"Yep, that’s right—I race RC cars in my spare time. After spending years as a forklift technician, I still haven’t been able to kick the technician out of me! I got into this hobby about three years ago, and it really allows me to hang out with friends at the racetracks. But more importantly, I still get to turn wrenches on my cars and look for more ways to find speed.

Now that you’ve read the first paragraph, I know you’re all thinking… “Ryan is one big nerd!”  Well, you’re right—but let me explain! There’s a lot that goes into setting up these cars to perform at their peak, from spring setups, camber, and caster adjustments to dialing in the correct gearing and tire prep. I get a smile on my face just thinking about it!

I’ve been fortunate enough to run some national events, such as the RC Chili Bowl in Tulsa, OK, as well as the Midwest Dirt Oval Nationals. Most weekends, you can find me at one of my local tracks: Attitude RC Raceway or Trackside Hobbies. I’ve picked up some awesome sponsors along the way, such as Carpy’s Print Company, which supplies me with all my killer wraps, and Shark RC Bodies.

I’m lucky to have my wife, Holly, and my children supporting me in my nerdiness.

So, while forklifts are always on my mind during the week, spending weekends with friends, getting my family involved, and trying not to finish last is a great way to recharge for another workweek!"
